The Winton Wetlands or otherwise known as Lake Mokoan, is just one of many locations for our Photography Workshops. What makes Lake Mokoan (I mean Winton Wetlands) so special is the enormous size of this wetland. At 8,750 hectares this will one day be the largest wetland restoration project in the southern hemisphere. The Winton Wetlands is located in North East Victoria alongside the Hume Highway between the townships of Benalla and Glenrowan. Or opposite the highway to Winton Raceway, where incidentally we teach Motor Racing Photography Workshops.
Our Landscape Photography Workshops are conducted as a ‘one on one’ Photography Workshop (optional by means of Bicycle) as we travel across access the Wetland to access secluded areas of untouched serenity. You can expect that most of the day is spent literally sneaking upon our subject matter to literally get the best possible photo. For those who don’t mind a lack of sleep, sunrise brings out the best of nature!
Below is an example of what could be seen in one day. But as we know every day is different when you are among nature.
Duration: 8 hours $595/Person or $795 for 2 Persons.

Hi John,
Thank you so much for an amazing day on Winton Wetlands.
I really appreciate your willingness to answer my questions, your readiness to impart your considerable knowledge, and the simple pleasure of your company.
I had a fantastic day, and I learned a great deal. I hope to put what you taught me to good use on future birding trips.
I went back to the wetlands this morning, on my way home. I just couldn’t resist another visit. I think I’m already putting your tips into practice.
Thanks again and all the best,
Ade
