There is nothing more I love better than Photographing a ‘destination Wedding’. At a place where I have never been.
Yesterday the afternoon was spent traversing the streets of the ‘Old Port of Echuca’ Historic area on foot. Not just for my obsession with photographing ‘Colourful doors’ and Paddle Steamers, but for finding inspiration for Sophie and Anthony’s Wedding. What I was hoping to portray in my images was their love for this beautiful area by having the icon’s of Echuca present in their images. So today was the day to let it all come together. Some very pleasant surprises came my way throughout the day. One was a ‘fly past’ by Anthony’s sister, Catherine. With the resulting image included above. Also I must add my approval of Sophie’s and Anthony’s choice of Reception. When I was told of their Reception at a ‘Bowls Club’. I had no idea how beautiful a Bowls Club Reception could be. This was the first time I had been to the Moama Bowls Club.
Echuca, see you again soon.

Hi John,
I just wanted to say that we received our DVD’s whilst we were away (collected by a friend on our behalf), and the photos are fantastic!
I am very pleased that I decided to use you for our wedding photos because the quality & type of photos you take is awesome.
The whole experience on the day was so easy and laid back and fun! I am also glad that there are so many photos on the disc…. it’s hard to pick a favourite!
Also your service of editing and putting the photos onto DVD and delivery to our home was extremely quick!
Definitely the best money we spent and I will be sure to recommend you to anyone getting married in the future (I know my bridesmaid Zoe has already decided she is using you – she just needs to get engaged first haha).
Look forward to seeing you again in December for Catherine’s wedding.
Thanks so much again.
Warm Regards,
Sophie & Anthony Nott
John,
Love your work, you rock!!!
